U12s: Stonnall Juniors 7 Lane Head Bullets 2

Stonnall Juniors 7 Lane Head Bullets 2
Goals: Harry, Jacko, Mac, Ethan, DJ, Charlie 2
MOTM – Pembo.
Well done Pembo, great distribution and constant talking to your defence along with two great saves to keep your team ahead.

League winners for the second successive season – well done lads, a fantastic achievement.
This is down to the hard work you have put in and learning to battle on with great team spirit and friendship within the team.
Today’s game saw some great football, in particular Lane Heads second goal.
Harry settled the team down with an early strike low and hard after racing up the left wing (where did that speed come from H?) Jacko scored with a neat finish into the top of the net from an assist from Squiggy who showed great feet up the wing topped of with vision to find Jacko.
With weeks of hard work and patience Mac got on the score sheet reacting quickly to Charlie’s strike off the keeper. Charlie captained the team well again and got a brace with his second a neat left foot place into the bottom corner. DJ raced down the right and powered home, Ethan’s determination got him on the score sheet from close range.
Behind every great team should be great parents and supporters – none better than ours at Stonnall.
Thank you for your hard work, commitment and encouragement, always willing and more than happy to help. We have a great team – a fantastic bunch of lads who really are a pleasure to coach but behind them are truly fantastic parents, aunts, uncles, grand parents, brothers, sisters and the pet dog!
Thank you for allowing the coach’s to coach, and allowing the players to play.
