U9s – A prize for mistakes

Prize of a free football at Saturday training for the player who best explains what the caption ‘You will become clever through your mistakes’ means to them. This ties in with the thoughts in the Epoch Times article I contributed to about kids playing football in a positive environment. Stonnall Juniors FC get a mention in the article.

Hat-trick hero

Stonnall Stars U9s – Congratulations to our hotshot number 9 for bagging the first hat-trick in SJFC history (and two in the subsequent match!). Match-ball below.

The whole of the Stonnall Stars U9s team deserve congratulating as three of the five goals came from a forward pass from a team-mate, something the team have been working on in recent linked sessions. Taking what’s learnt at training into the matches is a fantastic achievement. Well done!
